When it comes to Gold Coast wedding venues, they aren’t all built the same, and not all venues allow glamping on site. These are our top five venues that don’t just boast some of the best hinterland views, but they allow pop-up glamping accommodation for all your guests!
If you’re after something that’s modern and exclusive, Gilston Manor is the Gold Coast’s newest.
The venue itself is lush, 20 acres of green acreage to be exact. The venue offers luxury, and it is only 20 minutes into the Gold Coast hinterland [or an hour from Brisbane if you’re travelling from there].
Our favourite part, aside from space for 100+ guests to glamp, there’s a swimming pool to cool off in the warmer months – and let’s be honest, that’s ¾ of the year in our part of the world.
Gold Coast Farmhouse
The Gold Coast Farm House is one of the Glamping Day favourites. It’s a venue that’s only 30 minutes from the Gold Coast, out in the Numinbah Valley [it is close by to the Hinze Dam & the Natural Arch].
Set on 50-acre’s and bordered by State Forest and National Parks you’ll find tranquillity at the venue.
While there is a [beautiful] Queenslander home on the property, there is plenty of space to make a weekend out of the wedding. We’ve seen the various flat cleared areas filled with our European Bell Tents, Tipi’s and marquees, giving it the ultimate wedfest vibe.
Gordon Country has one of the most magnificent wedding barns in South East Queensland [dare we say, Australia?]. If you’re after a wedding with a country vibe but also want a hint of glamour, Gordon Country [which also hosts one of Australia’s best 4×4 courses!] might just be the hidden gem you have been looking for.
And, while there is onsite accommodation, there is also plenty of space for your guest to glamp in some of Queensland best bush landscapes.
Old world charm with new world luxury – that’s what Branell Homestead is known for. It’s also only an hour drive from Brisbane, just enough space to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough for guests to travel comfortably too.
The homestead has some of the most magnificent and unrivalled views of the Lockyer Valley; honestly, they’ll take your breath away!
It’s also another venue that has its own onsite accommodation, but we know that some of our bell tents will make the experience unforgettable!
Your Private Venue
Hands down, a private venue the cream of the crop, our pick of the bunch. Not only are there any curfews [your guests, and you, can party all night long] but, it also means that you’ll be able to really make a whole weekend of it with everyone and stay late for breakfast or long lunch to celebrate.
All you’ll need to have is some flat ground, around 7m squared for each tent, and able to have our team around a day or two before the wedding day to work our magic.
A pop-up village in your backyard – could it be any more perfect?!
